Grow in Wonder
A note from Robert

The mission, in plain words.

I'm Robert Beugelink, the creator behind Ava's Christian Adventures. Before I tell you about the bigger dream, the one with a truck and a very long road ahead, here is the part that comes first and never moves.

Number one is to make things children genuinely enjoy. Real stories, real fun and faith woven. Everything else you'll read on this page grows out of that.

Here to create what children love.

01 · First, always

A really good story, made for the child holding it.

My first job is simple. Make things kids want to finish. A growing series of adventure stories and activity books set in faith and wonder, written to entertain first. If a child closes one of these books grinning, already asking for the next one, then I've done my job.

Faith is in there, gently. No lecture, no neat little moral dropped in at the end.

Across the series, each adventure lets a child work something out for themselves through the story. I am here to serve the reader and make faith fun. That's the whole heart of it, and it stays the heart of it.

02 · Starting now

Giving as we go, right here in Cape Town.

I don't want the profits from this series sitting idle. Yes, I want to make a living. I also want to give in the process, and I want that to start close to home. So from the first proceeds, my plan is to pay it forward: Clothing for shelters and a hand towards food drives.

I'm still new to this, and honestly the first book isn't even out yet, so I'm not going to name partners I haven't sat down with. I'd rather earn those relationships than announce them. But the direction is set, and I wanted it written down here where you can hold me to them.

"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done." Proverbs 19:17

03 · The cherry on top

The long way round, Cape Town to Cairo, and home again.

Here's the dream I keep coming back to. In time, growing Nature's Prose from a small company into something built to give, then loading up an overland truck and taking the mission on the road. Cape Town to Cairo, then across to Casablanca and the long drive back down. Outreach and writing along the way, serving children across the continent, and gathering stories of faith and wonder.
