I'm Robert Beugelink, the creator behind Ava's Christian Adventures. We've only just started, so let me keep this short and true.
We want to make things children genuinely enjoy. Real stories, real fun, with a little bit of faith woven in.
Everything else you'll read on this page grows out of that.
Here to create what children love.
01 · First, always
A really good story, made for the child holding it.
My first job is simple. Make things kids want to finish. A growing series of adventure stories and activity books set in faith and wonder, written to entertain first. If a child closes one of these books grinning, already asking for the next one, then I've done my job.
Faith is in there, gently. No lecture, no neat little moral dropped in at the end.
Across the series, each adventure lets a child work something out for themselves through the story. I am here to serve the reader and make faith fun. That's the whole heart of it, and it stays the heart of it.
02 · Right now
Early days, and I'd rather say so.
We're at the very beginning. The first few stories have just been written, more are on the way, and there are no sales figures to show you yet. I'd rather earn your trust one book at a time than promise the moon on page one.
So for now, the mission is simple. Here is what I can promise you today.

Every book has to be one a child wants to finish. If it isn't fun, it isn't ready.

Woven into the adventure, the way it shows up in real life. Never a lecture.

Made for ages 6 to 9
Good for reading together at the young end and for reading alone as they grow.
03 · Where you come in
Read it with your child, then tell me the truth.
The most useful thing anyone can give a new series is an honest opinion. If your child reads one of Ava's adventures, I'd love to hear what happened. Did they laugh? Did they drift off halfway? Did they ask questions you didn't expect?
Kind words are lovely.
Honest words will make the next book better.
Honestly, I'm not sure yet. There are plenty of ideas floating around in my head. Paying it forward here in Cape Town, with food drives and helping organizations that support the homeless. A pilgrimage to some of the world's oldest Christian sites. Maybe even an overland missionary outreach one day. I don't know yet which of these will take root, so none of it is promised. For now, there are more stories to write.
